She left home years ago as a young student. Today she returns as a beautiful young woman. She wants to re-connect, find those lost threads, those memories that have snapped like an elastic band stretched too far. She wants to laugh again like she did once over silly nothings. She wants to enjoy the luxury of finally being at home. But something has change over these few years. Everyone has changed over these last few years. They refuse to look at her for who she is, all they want, is to know whom she’s with. It’s time, they tell her. She must, they tell. It’s not right, they tell her. The fact that she is happy as she is doesn’t matter. This time when she leaves, it’ll be forever.
